Núria Salvadó Aragonès

 

Graduated from the Architecture School of Barcelona, (ETSAB) in 1999 and she gets her PhD in architectural projects (ETSAB, UPC) in February 2013 with the thesis: “Inhabitated intervals. An approach to the in-between spaces of collective housing”. She started to run her own office since 2001. Since september 2014 she works at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya as associate professor.

 

Her work has been recognized in different occasions:

  • FAD awards - finalist 2017

  • XV Biennale di Architettura di Venezia 2016 - as part of Spanish pavilion

  • Endesa Awards fos sostenible architecture - 2nd price 2013

  • FAD Awards - finalist 2011

  • Alejandro de la Sota - 1st prize 2009, 1st prize 2005, finalist 2007

  • Arquia/Proxima awards for young architects. Finalist 2010, Finalist 2008 

  • X, XII, XIV Biennale Internacionale di Architettura di Venezia - as part of the Spanish pavilion and the Catalan pavilion

  • X Spanish Biennal of Architecture and Urbanism- selected work 2011

 

Nuria Salvadó has taught at a the Universitat Internacional d’Arquitectura, Escola d’Arquitectura de La Salle, Escola d’Arquitectura de Reus, (ear URV), and she is currently teaching Architectural Design and doing Research and developing architectural projects at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Escola d'Arquitectura de Barcelona i del Vallès.
